ABOUT THE EVENT
An evening in solidarity with the Palestinian People
We feel compelled to try and help in more ways facing the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
This is why we decided to join with the local organization PalCH to host a fundraising Gala Dinner at DAR.
We want to celebrate Palestinian heritage through food, music, art and crafts, and come together in solidarity and peace.
Celebrate unity leaving our differences aside to share a table over food, conversations and human connection.
Chef Zizi’s team together with Chef Sara Aqel and chef Jacklin Arraf will create a delicious sharing menu representing a tribute/homage to the flavors and colors of the land of olive trees.
In addition to the dinner, there will be live music, a small art exhibition and the possibility to purchase Palestinian crafts. Doors will open at 5pm for the reception apero. At 6pm there will be a welcoming speech by PalCH co-founder Ursula Hayek. And the solidarity dinner will start at 6:30pm.
The ticket price is 165 CHF. In case you feel like making a higher donation, there's a "donation" button you will find below in this website.
The ticket includes a sharing menu to indulge into Palestinian cuisine over 12 different dishes.
Extra drinks will be charged on site.
100% of the proceeds will go to the emergency relief project in Gaza, which is run by PalCH’s partner PWWSD.
